Fellowships & Bootcamps
BRSL Fellowships offer professionals in the technology or security sectors the opportunity to deepen their expertise and explore the technical, policy, and governance challenges posed by these fields. Fellows participate in and contribute to BRSL’s research and policy engagement. Fellows also have the opportunity to engage with UC Berkeley’s rich ecosystem of science and technology research and build professional networks within the broader Berkeley ecosystem.
BRSL Bootcamps are specialized, topic-specific programs, typically run for one week and targeted toward groups as emerging and early-career professionals, post-doc scholars, or specific industries. Participants engage with experts, learn the history of the field, understand different approaches and priorities, and experience hands-on training.

AI Red-Teaming Bootcamp
An intensive two-week program training participants in adversarial AI testing methodologies. Learn to identify vulnerabilities in large language models and develop robust evaluation frameworks for AI safety.
